The Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra is one of India's most popular Hindu pilgrimages. It covers four sacred temples: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Surrounded by the beautiful Himalayas, rivers and peaceful mountain views, this journey offers a special mix of faith, nature and adventure. Travel through scenic mountain roads, visit ancient temples and experience the spiritual beauty of Uttarakhand. The journey usually takes around 10–12 days by road, depending on the starting point, weather and travel plan. Kedarnath requires a trek from Gaurikund or an approved alternative travel arrangement. Plan your Char Dham Yatra with suitable transport, accommodation and guidance for a comfortable pilgrimage.
Pleasant days in summer, cool weather in autumn and cold conditions at high altitudes. Monsoon brings heavy rain and landslide risks.
